Cowgirl queen Holly Box-Springs takes over the Wild West Side every Sunday.

Country queen Holly Box-Springs loves to paint the town red every Sunday night, and a drag queen on her night off can get into plenty of trouble in Hell’s Kitchen. “On Sundays you get to party without being surrounded by some of the Friday and Saturday night crowd. In my opinion, Sundays kick off your week, so go big or go home,” she says. “I hope y’all brought your drinking panties!”

FLAMING SADDLES

793 Ninth Ave (btwn 52/53rd Sts) flamingsaddles.com.
“I like to start with liquid brunch at Flaming Saddles Saloon! John, Cody, Ryan, and Tommy are there two-steppin’ away starting at noon. Grab a 2-for-1 Bud Light or $6 mimosas and bloody marys. I love this place because it has everything from country music to some of the nicest bartenders in town, and that do impress me much!”

HARDWARE

697 10th Ave (btwn 47th/48th Sts), hardware-bar.com.
“Next stop is Hardware for their incredible happy hour with $3 mimosas, margaritas and bloody marys! If you’re feeling brave, there are also $5 Long Island iced teas. And you never know what drag queen will be passing through after a brunch gig. Great guys behind the bar and a nice stiff drink—I’m there!”

EL CENTRO

824 Ninth Ave (@ 54th St), elcentro-nyc.com.
“Now it’s time to actually get some food to soak up that booze you’ve been slinging back. El Centro has the best margaritas in the gayborhood! As a Texan, I’m a little picky about my tequila, but the ‘De La Casa’ margarita has my absolute favorite, Herradura Silver, with real lime juice. My favorite menu item has got to be the chicken enchiladas, which is just cheesy goodness. They also have some of the nicest and best-looking staff in the area—a little eye candy never hurt nobody!”

SLURP

Therapy, 348 W 52nd St (btwn Eighth/Ninth Aves), therapy-nyc.com.
“After I’m full of tequila and Mexican food, I head over to Therapy to see Paige Turner for Slurp, full of musical theater and crinoline. The show is always packed and I always leave with a smile.”

INDUSTRY

355 W 52nd St (btwn Eighth/Ninth Aves), industry-bar.com.
“If I’m still standing, I’ll try to walk across the street to Industry to catch 1999 with Kizha Karr. This queen will have you on your feet while she is death dropping or giving the craziest drag suicide you’ve ever seen!”
